Biography

	G. J. J. Bastiaan Born on February 14th 1957 in Wezep (The Netherlands). From his early youth, due to his father’s encouragement he was an avid bird fancier. In the early 80’s he developed an enormous interest in colour mutation breeding and ever since he has become a passionate breeder of Ringnecked parrots and their mutations and later on also other members of the Psittacula family. In 1992 their first book “Ringnecked Parakeets and their Mutations” was published. Since this was a great success, it was decided to write a follow up. The first lines for this book were already written in 1998 and will be available from March 2004.
